Beirut [Lebanon], March 28: At least three people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon, Lebanese media reported. The Israeli military said it attacked several members of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia in the south while they were transporting weapons.
Lebanon's state news agency NNA, quoting the country's Health Ministry, reported that three people were killed in an attack on a vehicle.
The Israel Defense Forces also said that a Hezbollah commander had been killed in a separate attack elsewhere in southern Lebanon. A ceasefire has been in place between Israel and Hezbollah since November. According to the agreement, Hezbollah is to withdraw behind the Litani River, which is located about 30km north of the country's border. (DPA)
