London [UK], November 26: The Met Office has warned that Storm Bert will continue to cause travel disruption on November 25, after heavy rains caused "devastating" flooding over the weekend, according to The Guardian.
Hundreds of homes were flooded , roads turned into rivers and winds of up to 136.7 km/h were recorded in parts of the UK.
At least five deaths have been reported in the UK since Storm Bert began hitting the UK and Ireland overnight and into the early hours of November 24. More than 200 flood warnings remain in place for parts of the UK as of November 25. Storm Bert has also left around 350,000 homes in the UK without power . In addition, aviation analytics firm Cirium said more than 300 flights from UK airports had been cancelled due to Storm Bert.
